Barbara A Meland

Barbara Ann Meland, age 59, of North Mankato, died Sunday, April 8, 2007 at her home.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at Mankato Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Peter Nosbush, officiating. Visitation will be one hour before service at the Mortuary on Wednesday. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, St. Clair.

Barbara was born October 5, 1947 to Edmund and Alice (Grams) Hodapp in Mankato. She graduated from St. Clair High School in 1965. She enjoyed gardening, counted cross stitch, and buying gifts for her grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by two sons, Rob Wiste and wife, Sandy of North Mankato, Keith Wiste of Mankato; three grandchildren, Nick, Carly, and Holly; mother, Alice Hodapp of North Mankato; three siblings, Rita Akemann and husband, Bernie of Waterville, Greg Hodapp of Chicago, Phil Hodapp and special friend, Marlys Kuch of Maple Grove; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father and a brother, James.
