Robert Capasso

Robert Capasso, age 76, of Lake Crystal, died Tuesday, March 20, 2007 in Clearwater, FL.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 30, 2007 at Lake Crystal Mortuary with Rev. Randal Lubbers, officiating. Burial will be in Lake Crystal Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before service at the mortuary on Friday. Memorials may be given to an organization of the donors choice.

Robert was born May 10, 1930 to Louis and Ursula (Naplitano) Capasso in Newark, New Jersey. He was united in marriage to Ruth Ann Olson on July 6, 1963 at the First Presbyterian Church, Lake Crystal. Robert served his country with the U.S. Army from 1951-1953 in Germany. He was self employed as a contractor for many years and retired after working for Essex County, New Jersey. He moved to Minnesota in 1989 from Bloomfield, NJ. He enjoyed listening to music and horse racing.

Robert is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann of Lake Crystal; two sons, Robert A. (Kelly) Capasso of Kalamazoo, MI, Marc C. Capasso of Tarpon Springs, FL; four grandchildren, Nicholas, Matthew, and Emily Capasso and Christopher Mulvihill; three brothers, Joseph (Dolly) Capasso of East Hanover, NJ, Carl (Millie) Capasso of Toms River, NJ, Louis (Yolanda) Capasso of Bloomfield, NJ; three sisters, Josephine Rusignuolo of Bloomfield, Rose Marcelliano of Summit, NJ, Carrie Cozzolino of Old Bridge, NJ; many nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Rocco; and one sister, Mary Raimo.
