David Dean Lutter, age 56, of St. Clair, died Sunday, March 25, 2007 at Immanuel-St. Josephs Hospital, Mankato.
Memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, March 29, 2007 at Christ the King Lutheran Church, Mankato with Rev. Steve Kidder officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour before service at church on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
David was born December 14, 1950 to Oscar and Darlene (Boom) Lutter in Mankato. He graduated from St. Clair High School. David was united in marriage to Donna Groenke on June 10, 1988 in Mankato, they were later divorced. He was employed by ADM for 34 years and was a member of the United Steel Workers of America Local # 13241. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, golf, sports, and spending time with his best friend, Tom.
David is survived by his son, Duane (Lutter) Johnson of Duluth; daughter, Tiffaney Lutter of Kasota; mother, Darlene Lutter of Mankato; four brothers, Mike Lutter of Eagle Lake, Richard Lutter of Mankato, Paul (Sheryl) Lutter of Janesville, Jeff Lutter of Eagle Lake; six sisters, Sylvia (Harlan) Runge of Mankato, Diana Lutter of California, Wanda (Michael) Taylor of Colorado, Kim (Gary) Mosher of Detroit Lakes, Lisa Reyes of Colorado, LaVon Winslow of North Mankato; best friend, Tom Lang; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
David was preceded in death by his father, Oscar in 1988.
