Sunday, April 24, 2011, Hector Oscar Dalle, a precious, hardworking, one-of-a-kind Dad and Grandpa, passed away peacefully with family at his side.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, April 28, 2011 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Mankato with Rev. Andy Olsem officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Calvary Cemetery in Mankato. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the church on Thursday. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Hector Oscar Dalle was born December 29, 1929 to Gaston and Anna (Sinave) Dalle in Marshall, Minnesota. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Hector was united in marriage to Rose Marie Stenzel on May 22, 1954 in Wells, Minnesota. He worked for the City of Mankato for 28 years. Hector enjoyed spending time with his family and visiting with friends.

He is survived by four children, Stephanie Dalle and her fianc" Robert Webinger, Sr. of Castle Rock, Steven Dalle of Robbinsdale, Lisa Loeffler of Northfield, Angie (Neil) Lien of Houlton, WI; three grandchildren, Jenna Loeffler and special friend, Adam of Minnetonka, Courtney Haefner of Brooklyn, NY, and Matthew Loeffler and special friend, Cassie of Little Canada; four brothers, Albert, Andrew, Oscar and LaMonde; three sisters, Bertha Bottelberghe, Maggie Maserek, Leona McDougall.

Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rose; two brothers, Louis and George; and sister, Martha.
