Stacy Mace

Stacy Mace, age 82, of Mankato, died Sunday, April 5, 2009 at Immanuel St. Joseph's Hospital in Mankato.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Mankato with Rev. Paul Lauer officiating. Burial will be in Medo Central Cemetery, rural Pemberton, MN. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday at Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour before service at church on Wednesday.

Stacy was born August 31, 1926 to Lee and Guilifia (Wolter) Mace in Mankato. He was united in marriage to Betty Petrowske on January 27, 1973. Stacy was a farmer for many years and later was employed by Dotson Company for 25 years. After retirement he worked at Wendy's. Stacy was a people person and enjoyed visiting with everyone. He loved flea markets, taking car rides, and flying.

Stacy is survived by his wife, Betty of Mankato; two brothers-in-law, Harry Petrowske and special friend, DeeAnn Winkler of Good Thunder, Jerome (Barb) Petrowske of Willmar.

Stacy was preceded in death by his parents.
