Nancy L. Foster, age 58, of Mankato, formerly of Winnebago, died Saturday, January 20, 2007 at Immanuel St. Josephs Hospital in Mankato following a courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at United Pentecostal Church in Mankato, with Rev. Jeremy Cox officiating. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday at Mankato Mortuary, and continues one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Nancy Foster Memorial Fund at TCF National Bank in Mankato.
Nancy was born January 7, 1949 in Kankakee, IL. She was the daughter of Richard and Mildred (Pete) Luebeck. Nancy attended school in Kankakee. She later lived in Winnebago, MN. Nancy was united in marriage to Perry Foster on November 22, 1977 in Madison Lake. She was a homemaker for her family. She attended United Pentecostal Church in Mankato. Nancy enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, crocheting, crafts, collecting porcelain dolls, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Nancy is survived by her seven children, Trey Foster and his fiance, Marcy Whysong of Rochester, Peter Foster of Winnebago, Adam (Rosie) Foster of Madison Lake, Sherri Foster and her fianc, Allen Roberts of Eagle Lake, Janet (Perry) Braam of Mankato, Patty Foster of Mankato, and Perry Foster III of Fairmont; fifteen grandchildren; mother, Mildred Luebeck of Mountain Lake; four sisters, Deb (Dean) Jansen of Mountain Lake, Pam Kliewer of Mountain Lake, Kay (Bob) Smith of Bradley, IL, and Bonnie (Bill) Stewart of Kankakee, IL; one brother, Richard (Kathy) Luebeck Jr. of Katy, TX; also many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.
