Treva McCormick

Treva McCormick, age 56, of Mankato died Thursday, January 18, 2007 at her home.

Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 22, 2007 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Mankato with Rev. John Wilmot, officiating. Visitation will be from 4 " 8 p.m. Sunday at Mankato Mortuary with a 4 p.m. prayer service. Visitation will continue one hour before service at church on Monday. Memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association.

Treva was born July 14, 1950 to Carl and Esther G. (Guse) Anderson in Worthington, MN. She graduated from Worthington High School in 1968 and from Bemidji State University in 1973. She was united in marriage in 1978 to Dennis McCormick in Mankato. Treva worked with the Mankato School District as a teachers aide. Treva enjoyed knitting, stamping, antiques, and watching her son play hockey.

Treva is survived by her husband, Dennis of Mankato; son, Trevor of Mankato; two brothers, Jon Anderson of Worthington, Scott Griesman of Sandy Valley, NV; sister, Bonnie Wiezorek of Worthington.

Treva was preceded in death by her parents.
