Agnes Smith

Agnes M. Smith, age 74 of North Mankato died Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at Immanuel-St. Josephs Hospital in Mankato.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Pauls Evangelical Lutheran Church in North Mankato. Burial will be in Lake Crystal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday at Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

Agnes is survived by four daughters, Kathy (Bruce) Maurer of Mapleton, Ruth (Jerry) Born of Lake Crystal, Renee Spencer of Owatonna, Mary (Vern) Valliant of Duluth; three sons, Raymond Smith of Princeton, Randy Smith of Eagan, Roger (Elaine) Smith of Mankato; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; five sisters, Dorothy (Donald) Moore of Sauk Rapids, Marion Kerben of Minneapolis, Blanche (Art) Molinari of Reno, NV, Lucy (Richard) Gebhardt of Ham Lake, Elaine (Ronald) Henkemeyer of Sauk Rapids; two brothers, Adolph Thering of Waterville, Valentine Thering of Barsto, CA.

Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Mary (Smiega) Thering, husband, Wayne, daughter, Laurie, four brothers, and two sisters.
