Margaret L. Scharf, age 93 of Mankato, died Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at Sunrise Cottage in Mankato.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 4, 2007 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in North Mankato. Burial will be held 2:30 p.m., Saturday January 6, 2007 in St. Josephs Cemetery in Devils Lake, ND. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Margaret is survived by her son, James (Lois) Scharf of Pagosa Springs, CO; daughter, Anne Heisler of Fargo, ND; son-in-law, Jim Hendley of North Mankato; nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, John; daughter, Mary Hendley; four brothers and four sisters.
