Eline U. Oberle

Eline Oberle, age 76 of Mankato, died Sunday, December 17, 2006 at Immanuel St. Josephs hospital in Mankato.

Private services will be held. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery in Mankato. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at Mankato Mortuary.

Eline was born on September 27, 1930 to Arnold and Alice (Campbell) Jensen in Chicago, IL. She was a 1949 graduate of Lindblom High School where she was a four year member of the National Honor Society. She attended business college after high school. After graduating from college she worked for Standard Oil Company. She was united in marriage to Heinrich Oberle on June 9, 1951 in Chicago, IL. Eline was a homemaker who was very devoted to her family. She enjoyed decorating and she also loved fine dining.

Eline is survived by her four children, Gale (Randy) Wersal of North Mankato, Mark (Barbara) Oberle of New Ulm, Rick (Janelle) Oberle of Mankato, Jodi (Glenn) Reitmeier of Sioux City, IA; nine grandchildren, Matthew and fianc Sarah Rothi, Jennifer and Daniel Wersal, Adam, Thomas, and Eric Oberle, Maxwell Oberle, Tiffany and Kelsey Reitmeier; one brother, Ronald (Dorothy) Jensen of Manistee, MI; sister-in-law, Betty Jensen of Lockport, IL; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 2003; and brother, Arnold Jensen Jr.
