Jeanette Marie Brenner, age 58, of Mankato died Thursday, November 30, 2006 at Immanuel St. Josephs Hospital in Mankato as the result of an automobile accident.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Mankato with Rev. Wayne Eichstadt officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Monday with a 3:30 pm prayer service at Mankato Mortuary. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Memorials may be given to donors choice.

Jeanette was born on February 12, 1948 to Hector and Leona (Jongbloedt) Seys in Mankato. She was a 1966 graduate of Loyola High School. She was united in Marriage to David Brenner on June 15, 1974 at the Newman Center in Mankato. From 1966 to 1974 she worked for Artcraft and after was self employed as a child care provider. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where she was active in the church choir. She was also a member of the Daycare Association Caring and Sharing program. In 2005 she was awarded Daycare Provider of the Year in Blue Earth County. She was also a member of the LeSueur County Pioneer Power Association. She enjoyed gardening, antiques, crafts, sewing, cross stitch, decorating, and taking care of her family and day care kids.

Jeanette is survived by her husband of 32 years, David Brenner of Mankato; children, Jennifer Brenner of Mankato, Timothy (Heidi) Brenner of Lake Crystal, and Joshua Brenner of Mankato; father, Hector Seys of Mankato; brothers, Kenneth (Luanne) Seys of Mankato, Steven (Karen) Seys of Mankato, and Andrew (Denise) Seys of North Mankato; sisters, Shirley (Peter) Eide of Shakopee, Jane Seys and husband James Troy of Logansport, IN, and Dorothy (Michael) Tipler of Mankato; brother-in-law, Dale (Carol) Brenner of Mankato; many nieces and nephews and great- nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother and a baby sister.
