Diane Sue Offenhauser, age 60, of North Mankato, died Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.

Memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 1, 2006 at Christ the King Lutheran Church with Rev. John Petersen officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Glenville, MN. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, November 30, 2006 at Mankato Mortuary and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Yellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention.

Diane was born October 9, 1946 in Austin to Raymond and Charlotte (Westrum) Olsen. She was a 1964 graduate of Glenville High School. On August 24, 1968, she married Richard Offenhauser in Hayward. She was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church and a volunteer with the ISJ Hospital and VINE. Diane loved her dogs, crafts, traveling, cooking, Christmas and making lefse. She will be remembered as a loving and wonderful mother and wife.

Survivors include her husband, Dick Offenhauser of North Mankato; three children, Peter (Julia) Offenhauser of New York, NY, Steve Offenhauser of St. Paul, Gretchen Offenhauser of Minneapolis; a sister, Cheryl (Marley) Flanders of Austin; mother-in-law and father-in-law, LeRoy and Jeanette Offenhauser of Glenville; aunt, Harriet Nelson of Northwood, IA; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Diane was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Mark; brother, Alton; and sister, Jeanette.
