Eva Elizabeth Schnobrich age 94 of St. Peter and formerly of Mankato, died Sunday, November 26, 2006 at the St. Peter Health Care Center.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 1, 2006 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mankato. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Mankato Mortuary. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
Memorials are preferred to an organization of the donors choice.
Eva was born November 28, 1911 in Springfield to Charles and Barbara (Moers) Schumacher.
She married Joseph Schnobrich on January 6, 1931 in Sanborn. They lived and farmed in the Sanborn area until moving to Mankato in 1956. Eva worked in the housekeeping department at Immanuel Hospital for 17 years prior to retiring. She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and liked to play accordion and work in the garden.
Eva is survived by five children, Bernard (Lenore) Schnobrich of St. Peter, Victor (Bonnie) Schnobrich of Rochester, Virginia (Bill) Busch of Mankato, Gary Schnobrich of Mankato, Janice (Richard) Berger of St. Peter; stepdaughter, Ella Lang of Mankato; many grandchildren and step-grandchildren and their families; nieces and nephews.
Eva was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, LeRoy, and three stepdaughters, Irene, Evelyn, and Deloris, and six siblings, Bill, Kate, Caroline, John, Leo, and Joe.
