Evelyn Louise Neuenfeldt, age 73 of North Mankato, died Saturday, October 14, 2006, at Immanuel " St. Joseph Hospital in Mankato.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Mankato with Rev. Paul Lauer officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 " 8 p.m., Tuesday at Mankato Mortuary and one hour before services at the church on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Our Saviors Lutheran Church Taxi Fund.
Evelyn was born October 11, 1933 to Alvin and Amanda (Hagen) Swift in Sherburn, Minnesota. She was united in marriage to Leonard J. Neuenfeldt on November 12, 1950 in Northrop, MN. Evelyn worked at Mankato Corp. for 21 years retiring in 1988. She was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Mankato. Her interests included gardening, traveling up north at the lake, fishing, and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard; one son Alan (Christine) Neuenfeldt of Jacksonville, FL; five daughters, Brenda (Stephen) Larson of Savage, MN, Pamela (Russell) Hock, Dawn (Steven) Rossow, Sandra (Kirk) Yungerberg, LeaAnn Neuenfeldt all of North Mankato. 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harold Swift of Northrop, David (Mary Jane) Swift of California, MD; three sisters, Joyce Barber of Kenosha, WI, Cheryl (Chris) Crossan of Galva, IL, Carole (Warren) Schultze of Northrop; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Donald.
