Blodwen A Davis

Blodwen A. Davis, age 95 of Mankato and formerly of Lake Crystal died Friday, January 23, 2009 at Hillcrest Health Care Center.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 31, 2009 at First Presbyterian Church in Lake Crystal with Rev. Randal Lubbers officiating. Burial will precede the service in Lake Crystal Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 " 6:30 p.m., Friday at Lake Crystal Mortuary. Visitation continues from 1:30 p.m., until time of service on Saturday.

Blodwen Ann Davis was born October 9, 1913 to David and Margaret (Roberts) Davis in Lake Crystal, Minnesota. She graduated from Lake Crystal High School in 1931. Blodwen worked for Kato Engineering, Minnegasco in Lake Crystal and retired from Minnegasco in Mankato. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Lake Crystal. Blodwen enjoyed knitting and crocheting.

Blodwen is survived by her sister, Gladys (Cliff) Stadem of Tucson, AZ; seven nephews and two nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jim (Lou) Davis; two sisters, Grace Davis, and Ruth (M.G.) Maxey; nephew, Karl Stadem.
