Verneal L Wild

Verneal Lois Wild, age 80, of Mankato, died Saturday, January 10, 2009 at the Benedictine Living Community, St. Peter.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 14, 2008 at Mankato Mortuary. Burial will be in Woodland Hills Memorial Park, Mankato. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday at Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour before service at the Mortuary on Wednesday.

Verneal was born February 19, 1928 to Louis and Nora Anderson in Mankato. She was united in marriage to Norman Wild on March 29, 1958 in St. Peter. Verneal was a homemaker for her family. She was a former member of Christ the King Lutheran Church, Mankato. She enjoyed gardening and crocheting.

Verneal is survived by a son, Thomas (Penny) Wild of Coon Rapids; brother, Robert Anderson of Brainerd; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Verneal was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norman in 1993; and five siblings.
