Edna Ottilie Foelster, age 93, of Mankato, died Thursday, October 5, 2006 at Mankato House Health Care Center in Mankato.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 9, 2006 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Mankato with Rev. Wayne Eichstadt officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9-10:30 at the church on Monday. Memorials are preferred to Immanuel St. Josephs Hospice.
Edna was born on December 18, 1912 to Christian and Ottilie (Weber) Foelster in Mankato. She was a 1931 graduate of Rapidan High School. Edna enjoyed sewing and was a seamstress. She worked at Gosewisch Brothers Furniture and later at Pearsons Draperies. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Mankato.
She is survived by three cousins, Mary Ann Mingo of Mankato, Phyllis Gilman of Lake Crystal, and Carolyn (Roger) Lovik of North Mankato; as well as other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Harold; two step-sisters, Viola Thompson and Margaret Everson.
