William F Becker

William Fredrick Becker, age 76, of North Mankato died Saturday, September 23, 2006 at his home.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at St. Pauls Evangelical Lutheran Church, North Mankato with Rev. Gary Wong officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Hills Memorial Park, Mankato. Visitation will be from 9-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at church. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

William was born August 14, 1930 to William Otto and Esther (Muesing) Becker in Mankato. He graduated from Mankato High School. William was united in marriage to Helga Liebsch on September 24, 1955 at St. Pauls Evangelical Lutheran Church. William owned and operated Becker Auto Supply before retiring in 1986. He was a member of St. Pauls Evangelical Lutheran Church. He enjoyed gun collecting, reading, gardening, and spending time with his family.

William is survived by his wife, Helga; two children, Carla Pihl and her husband, Douglas of Shoreview, William P. Becker of North Mankato; two grandchildren, Brett Pihl and Tyler Pihl; and many cousins and other relatives and friends.

William was preceded in death by his parents.
