Beverly J. Bradley, age 70, of Mankato, died Sunday, September 17, 2006 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 21, 2006 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Mankato, with Rev. Richard Colletti officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday at Mankato Mortuary, and continues one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Private family burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Mankato.
Beverly was born on December 28, 1935 in New Ulm. She was the daughter of August Pat and Magdalena (Bauman) Bloedel. Beverly was a 1953 graduate of New Ulm High School. She was united in marriage to Dean Bradley on November 8, 1955 in New Ulm. Beverly was a certified diamond appraiser. She was a co-owner of Goldworks Jewelers and later became the jewelry dept. manager at Sams Club in Mankato. Beverly was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Mankato. She enjoyed gardening, birds, nature, and visiting their lake home.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Dean Bradley of Mankato; five children, Shawn (Doug) Adams of Mankato, Shannon Bradley of New Ulm, Shelly (Kurt) Klaustermeier of Mankato, Patrick Bradley of Santa Cruz, CA, and Rhett (Charlene) Bradley of North Mankato; seven grandchildren, Alex, Josh, and Morgan Klaustermeier, Clancy and Quinn Adams, Dugan and Hannah Bradley; seven brothers, Wallace (Vida) Bloedel of New Ulm, John Jack Bloedel of New Ulm, Kenneth Bloedel of Fullerton, CA, Edmund Bloedel of New London, Augie Buzz (Jean) Bloedel of New Ulm, Barrie Bloedel of New Ulm, Douglas (Carol) Bloedel of Marshfield, WI; also many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; twin infant siblings; sisters-in-law, Marlys, Nona, Margie, Jean, and Sharon Bloedel; parents-in-law, Ray and Ann Bradley; sister-in-law, Sharon Lang.
