Bertha Bruns

Bertha M. Bruns, age 92, of Mankato, died Thursday, August 31, 2006 at the Mankato Lutheran Home.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at St. Pauls Evangelical Lutheran Church, North Mankato, with Rev. Gary Wong, officiating. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Truman. Visitation will be one hour before the service at church. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to VINE, St. Pauls Lutheran Church, or Mankato Lutheran Home.

Bertha is survived by her daughter, Mary Hacker and husband, Lee of Minneapolis; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Ben Kehr and wife, Della of Gaylord, Ewald Kehr and wife, Edna of LaGrande, OR; nieces, nephews, cousins.

Preceded in death by her parents, Ernst and Hilda Kehr; husband, Arthur; brother, Alvin.
