Larry E. Hahn, age 64 of St. Peter, died Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Oaklawn Health Care Center in Mankato.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Mankato. Visitation will take place 4-7 p.m., Wednesday at Mankato Mortuary as well as one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Gaylord. Mankato Mortuary is assisting with arrangements.

Larry Ellsworth was born January 21, 1948 to Ellsworth and Donna (Kloempken) Hahn in Gaylord, Minnesota. Larry was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord. Growing up he attended school in Gaylord and was a member of the 1966 graduating class. Following his high school graduation in 1966 he enlisted in the United States Navy. After the Navy, he attended Mankato Commercial College

On February 23, 1968 he was united in marriage to Kathleen Bierstedt at St. Paul Lutheran in Gaylord. This union was blessed with two children, David and Amanda.

Larry owned and operated an accounting firm, Larry E. Hahn, CPA. He was a member of Hosanna Lutheran Church in Mankato. Larry enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was an active member of the Gaylord Sertoma Club and was an avid Twins fan. Larry was a member of the VFW, and the Last Man Standing Club of St. Peter. Larry's grandchildren were his greatest joy.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Kathy Hahn; son, David (Billie) Hahn; daughter, Amanda (Kenny) Fuller; grandchildren: Caleb Fuller, Ava Hahn, Glory Fuller, Olivia Hahn, Ellah Fuller, Gretchen Hahn, Moriah Fuller, Harry James Fuller, and Ruby Fuller; mother, Donna Hahn; brother, Allen (Ardis) Hahn; sister-in-law, Joyce Black; mother-in-law, Bernice Bierstedt; two nieces and one nephew; and many cousins.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Ellsworth Hahn; and father-in-law, Harold Bierstedt.
