Sarah E. Haroldson, age 75 of Mankato, died Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Mayo Clinic Health System, Mankato.

A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, November 20, 2012 at Mankato Mortuary from 10-11 AM. Burial in Garden City Cemetery. Mankato Mortuary is assisting with arrangements.

Sarah was born on December 30th, 1936 to Bernard and Lola (Strong) Shaw. She was a beacon to all who knew her. She was a homemaker, mother, daughter, and friend to all. She always had a helping hand to help those around her, even the one's she didn't know. Her smile and laughter will be genuinely missed. Sarah loved everything in life. The things she liked to do most were crafts for the Blue Earth County Fair, visiting her sisters and brothers, collecting aluminum cans, puzzles, spending time with her kids and grandchildren, and cracking walnuts.

Sarah is survived by her sons, Michael and Lyle Haroldson of Mankato; brother, Art Shaw of Garden City, sister, Bernice Taylor of Mankato; sister-in-law, Nadine Shaw of Mankato; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Sarah was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Haroldson; son, Jim Haroldson; brothers, Duane and Bill Shaw; sister, Edith Shaw; brother-in-law, Wallace Taylor; sister-in-law, Kathy Shaw; mother-in-law, Edna Haroldson.

She will always be missed but in our hearts forever. Please join us in celebrating her life.
