Matthew Thomas Albrecht, age 26, of Mapleton, was taken from his family and friends on April 16, 2010.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Mankato Mortuary, with Rev. John Michel officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the mortuary.
Matthew was born on January 27, 1984 to Angela Wobschall and Ronald Albrecht. He enjoyed fishing and playing the Wii with all of his "kids." Considering himself a "master griller," Matthew enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed.
Matthew is survived by his mother and father; two children, Zoey (6) and Ashlyn (1 "); three sisters, Melissa, Jessica, and Heather; five nieces, Ruby, Emerald, Carly, Tricity, and Willow; one nephew, Zander; grandparents, Sandra Danberry and Lester (Darlene) Albrecht; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
