Mary E. (Miller) Klinkner, age 89 of Eagle Lake, died, Monday, April 4, 2011 at Oaklawn Health Care Center in Mankato.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 8, 2011 at All Saints Catholic Church in Madison Lake with Rev. Robert Schneider officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Sleepy Eye. Visitation will be held from 5 " 7 p.m., Thursday at Mankato Mortuary and one hour before the service at the church on Friday. Memorials may be given to All Saints Catholic Church kitchen renovation project.
Mary was born on September 20, 1921 in Claremont, MN to Albert and Agnes (Stalwick) Naylor. On January 2, 1943 Mary was united in marriage to Murley Miller. He died on June 5, 1972. On June 27, 1981 Mary was united in marriage to Francis Klinkner. Mary was employed by the Sleepy Eye Municipal Hospital for 17 years. She enjoyed cards, reading, traveling, gardening, and spending time with family. Mary was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, Christian Mothers, and the Eagle Lake American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by four daughters: Joyce (Ronald) Miland of Spring Valley, MN, Jeanne (Douglas) Hume of Eagle Lake, Janis (David) Fromm of Eagle Lake, and Joan Bowe of Eagle Lake; two sons: James Miller of New Ulm and Jay (Kristine) Miller of Buffalo; daughter-in-law, Joyce Miller of Rochester; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Eugene (Bernie) Naylor of Rochester; one sister, Evelyn (Dennis) Conrad of Alexandria, MN; brother-in-law, Bill Walker of Cottonwood, AZ. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Murley; sons, John and Jeffry, second husband, Francis; and sister, Joan.
