Christian Jay Salinas, infant son of Todd Salinas and Jessica Clobes of Mankato, died Friday, March 18, 2011 at Immanuel St. Joseph's Hospital in Mankato.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, March 28, 2011 at Mankato Mortuary. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the mortuary.

Christian was born January 3, 2011 in Mankato. He is survived by his parents, Todd and Jessica; brothers, Deshaun and Sidney; grandparents, David Clobes and Pedro (Ileen) Salinas; great-grandparents, Cleone Clobes, Linnea (Larry) Berger, and Sadie (Art) Milner; aunt, Tonisha Gilbert; uncles, Chad (Heidi) Clobes, Tom (Tamorrow) Clobes, John (Elizabeth) Clobes, Dan (Michelle) Gould, John Gould, Tim (Theresa) Yackel, Aaron Gilbert and his special friend, Billie Jo Timmerman and also many loving cousins.

Christian was preceded in death by his infant sister, Mahlayna Salinas; grandparents, Linnea Anderson and Marlene Salinas; great-grandparents, Sidney Clobes and Verle Anderson; uncles, Scott Gould and Ted Salinas; great-uncles, Tracy Anderson and Mike Gould; and a cousin, Andrew Anderson.
