Andy Robert Struck, age 37, of Shoreview, died Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at United Hospital in St. Paul from complications due to cancer.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 5, 2011 at the Church of the Nativity in Cleveland, MN, with Rev. Cory Rohlfing and Rev. Dennis Backer officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Cleveland. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. on Friday at North Mankato Mortuary " NORTHVIEW. There will be no visitation before the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to his daughter, Olivia's college fund.

Andy was born on March 23, 1973, to Jim and Denise (Dauk) Struck in Mankato. He graduated from Cleveland High School in 1991 and attended North Dakota State University where he earned a Civil Engineering Degree. He currently co-owned and operated Struck Engineering in Stillwater. Andy was a dedicated husband and father. He was an avid outdoorsman and sports enthusiast who enjoyed many fishing and hunting trips, golfing with friends, running Grandma's marathon, being a craftsman around the house, and especially watching the MN Wild. Andy will be remembered as a brave, strong, and determined individual who inspired many through his courageous fight. He will be sadly missed but will always be our hero.

Andy is survived by his wife, Amy (Radzak) Struck; daughter, Olivia; parents, Jim and Denise Struck of Cleveland; siblings, Mike (Amber) Struck of Cleveland, Christy (Patrick) Leopold of Hudson, WI, and Jill Struck of Eden Prairie; favorite uncle to Kaylee and Gavin Struck; maternal grandmother, Ann Dauk of Cleveland; paternal grandparents, Gordon and Lorraine Struck of Cleveland; also many aunts, uncles, cousins, and special furry friend, Sammy.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jerome Dauk; aunt, Geralyn McCarthy; and cousin, Joe Bedford.
