Kathleen D. Ziegler, age 58, of Madison Lake passed away Saturday, June 24, 2006 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 29, 2006 at Marysburg Catholic Church, with Rev. Syl Brown officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Madison Lake. Visitation will be on hour before the service at the church on Thursday. Mankato Mortuary is handling arrangements.
Kathleen was born on October 10, 1947 in Mora. She was the daughter of Raymond and Martha (Seidl) Ziegler. She graduated from Cleveland High School in 1965. Kathy worked for ADC/Onan Telecommunications in St. Peter for many years. She was a long time member of the local coonhunters association around Madison Lake. She spent many hours with her father Ray and her nephews chasing coon around the area and attending all of the local meetings. Kathy was a dedicated member of Marysburg Catholic Church near Madison Lake. She truly enjoyed helping out with all the church activities. Kathy enjoyed spending time with all of her nieces and nephews and special friends. Her story telling will be missed by us all.
Kathy is survived by her two brothers, Duane (Dorothy) Ziegler of Mankato and Sheldon Ziegler of Anoka; nieces and nephews, Denise (Dennis) Peterson of Vernon Center, Dale (Cheryl) Ziegler of Sioux Falls, SD, Darrell (Brenda) Ziegler of Welcome, Doug (Tami) of Vernon Center, David (Rhonda) Ziegler of Prior Lake, Angie Ross of Andover, and Pamela Kohler of Anoka; grand-nieces and nephews, Devin, Drew, and Darian, Mikayla, Alison, and Jacob, Dustin and Brady, Sydney and Andrew, Jasmine and Dillon, Nicole, and Brandon; special family friends, Reggie (Bev) Muellerleile and their sons, Jason, Bruce, and Michael all of Elysian.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ray in 1989 and her mother, Martha in 2000; and brother, Frances in 1961.
