Henrietta M Tanley

Henrietta M. Tanley age 90 of Mankato died Sunday, March 19, 2006 at Mankato Lutheran Home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Mankato Mortuary with Rev. Fa. Thomas Mroczka from St. Annes Catholic Church in White Bear Lake, MN officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service at Mankato Mortuary.

Henrietta was born June 19, 1915 in Mankato to Henry and Mary (Vaubel) Jakobe. After high school, Henrietta completed her education at Mankato Beauty School. She was a beautician and owned My Lady Beauty Shop. Henrietta was married to Clarence Ottum. He later died. She then married Ben Tanley and he later died. Henrietta was a former member of St. Bonifacius Catholic Church and the John Birch Society.

Henrietta is survived by many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Clarence; second husband, Ben; six brothers, Frank, John, Joe, Allie, Nick, and Carl; and three sisters, Gertrude Godsill, Cecelia Jakobe, and Elizabeth Dickey.
