Palmer H. Larson, age 95, of Lake Crystal died Saturday, March 11, 2006 at the Lake Crystal Health Care Center.
Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 16, 2006 at Zion Lutheran Church, Lake Crystal with Rev. Nancy Dreier officiating. Burial will be in Lake Crystal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the church. Lake Crystal Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
Palmer was born November 3, 1910 to William and Nellie (Byro) Larson in Brown County, Minnesota. Palmer lived his life in the Lake Crystal area. He had worked at the seed corn plant, as a farm hand for his brothers and many other area farmers in the area, and had done farm tiling. He enjoyed walking everyday and visiting with all his friends in Lake Crystal and at the Lake Crystal Health Care Center.
Palmer is survived by three siblings, Sidney E. Larson and his wife, Doris of Madelia, Gladys V. Engelby of Mankato, and Orville J. Larson and his wife, Vera of Waterville; sister-in-law, Irene Larson of Pine City; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by six brothers, John Byro, Ingwald, Arnold, Vern, Gordon, and Burdie Larson; three sisters, Ruth, Agnes, and Fern.
