Amy Lynn Isackson

Amy Lynn Isackson, beloved daughter and sister, age 33, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, February 3, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. A private Christian funeral service will be held. Interment will be in Minneopa Cemetery in Mankato. Mankato Mortuary in charge of arrangements.

Amy Lynn was born on August 15, 1972 in Windom, MN to Doran L. and Rosemary (Ruch) Isackson. Amy was baptized at Bethany Lutheran Church in Storden on October 1, 1972 and was confirmed May 8, 1988 at Bethany Lutheran Church. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at a young age. Amy graduated from Storden-Jeffers High School in 1990.

For several years Amy resided in North Mankato and enjoyed coming back to her childhood farm home in Storden, MN. She enjoyed being outdoors with her horse Sugar. Amy loved nature, plants and flowers, and renewing the grove by chain sawing. She also enjoyed music, reading, and shopping. Amy was a blessing to her family.

Amy is survived by her mother, Rosemary Isackson; her sister, Charisse Isackson both of Storden, MN; her brother Todd (Lora) Isackson of Owatonna, MN.

Amy was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents.
