Margaret M Oachs

Margaret M. Oachs, age 82, of Mankato died Saturday, January 28, 2006 at Immanuel-St. Josephs Hospital in Mankato.

Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, Mankato with Rev. John J. Petersen, officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Hills Memorial Park, Mankato. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday (TODAY) at Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour before service on Tuesday. Memorials may be given to an organization of the donors choice.

Margaret was born January 26, 1924 to Alfred and Ida (Enz) Weih in Belgrade Township, North Mankato. She attended Kerns School District #8. She was united in marriage to Calvin M. Oachs on January 1, 1943 at St. Pauls Ev. Lutheran Church in North Mankato. Margaret was a homemaker for her family. She was a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church. She enjoyed playing cards, traveling, going out to eat and a good cup of coffee, and visiting with her friends and family.

Margaret is survived by two sons and their wives, Steven and Joyce Oachs, William and Sharon Oachs all of Mankato; five grandchildren, Terry (Shelley) Oachs, Stacie (Butch) Buccelli, Kevin Oachs and fianc, Jennifer Kroon, Craig (April) Oachs, Greg (Jenny) Oachs; thirteen great-grandchildren, Jazmine, Corey, Mitch, Megan, Jacob, Kaylee, Jett, Garrett, Kaden, and Logan Oachs, Joe, Max, and Katie Buccelli; five brothers, Al (Iva) Ganske, Gene (Roberta) Ganske, Dale (Wanda) Ganske, Roy (Maxine) Ganske, and Jerry (Sandy) Ganske; two sisters, Ardis Ganske and Verna Cole; special family members, Ruth Enz, Karen Jewison, Gloria Oachs; and many family and friends.

Margaret was preceded in death by three daughters; sister, Laura Samuelson; and her husband, Calvin on August 13, 2003.
