Mary Lou Barnett Pedersen of Lake Crystal, age 82, wonderful mother, beloved wife, true servant of the Lord, died Wednesday, January 18, 2006 of ALS, a slow crippling disease.
Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 21, 2006 at First Baptist Church in Lake Crystal, with Pastor John Michel officiating. Burial will be at the Garden City Cemetery following the services. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Memorials are preferred to the First Baptist Church, Gideons International, and to the ALS Foundation.
Mary Lou is survived by her husband, Ronald Pedersen, of Lake Crystal; seven daughters and their husbands: Daneda and Frantz Lipsey of Atlanta, GA, Rebecca and Stephen Carlson of DeLand, FL, Dawn Barnett of Fort Worth, TX, Rose and Kevin Pierson of Lake Crystal, Susan and Brad Owens of Lake Crystal, Catherine and Andrew Altman/Pedersen of Portland, OR, and Christine Pedersen of Portland, OR; three sons and their wives: Barry and Kay Barnett of Red Oak, TX, Jon and Terri Barnett of Atlanta, GA, and Paul and Wendy Barnett of Atlanta, GA; 29 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Roy and Anne Krueger of Kerkhoven, Virgil and Mary Krueger of Riverside, CA, Raymond Krueger of Mankato, Donald and Rachel Krueger of Mankato.
Mary Lou is preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Barnett; her parents, Otto and Mildred Krueger; three sisters, Agnes, Viola, and Hazel; one brother, Floyd; and one grandson, Frank Emil Farmer.
