Erma M Roba

Erma M. Roba, age 84, of North Mankato, died Sunday, December 25, 2005 at Mankato Lutheran Home.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2005 at Shiloh Lutheran Church, Elmore, MN with Rev. Robert Roettger officiating. Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Elmore, MN. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour before the service at church on Saturday.

Erma was born on February 16, 1921, in Ringsted, Iowa, to Henry and Marie (Bonnickson) Larsen. She was united in marriage to Russell Roba on August 31, 1940 in Swea City, Iowa. Erma was a homemaker for her family and was a member of Shiloh Lutheran Church in Elmore, Minnesota. She enjoyed working outside in her flower garden, crocheting, sewing, and needlework.

Erma is survived by four daughters, Elaine Coffey and her husband, George of Bronson, FL, Carol Ann Roba of Minneapolis, MN, Sandra Jobe, Maryls Roba, both of Snow Camp, NC; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; two brothers, Emly Larsen of Hutchinson, MN, Harvey Larsen and his wife, Noradel of Swea City, IA; one sister, Bernice Koster and husband, John of Round Lake, MN; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Erma was preceded in death by her husband Russell in 1996 and her parents.
