Rose A. Feeser, age 97 of North Mankato, died Monday, December 19, 2005 at Mankato House Health Care Center.

A celebration of Roses life will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 21, 2006 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Rev. Peter Nosbush officiating. A graveside service for family will be in Calvary Cemetery in Mankato. There will be a time to visit with the family one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday and also immediately following the service. Mankato Mortuary is handling arrangements.

Rose was born August 8, 1908 in Steyr, Austria to Ferdinand and Rosa (Hofbauer) Scholz. In 1912, she and her family moved to the United States. On July 19, 1936, she married Sylvester M. Feeser in Minneapolis. Sylvester died in May of 1963. Rose was a bookkeeper for 15 years at Donaldsons Department Store, 10 years at Polar Bottling, and 3 years at Ford Printing Company. Rose was the personnel director for 10 years at St. Josephs Hospital and was the secretary for 12 years at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Rose retired at the age of 75.

Rose was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in North Mankato, Catholic Daughters, and Summit Center. She enjoyed water aerobics at YMCA, crocheting, knitting, embroidery, bowling, and sending greeting cards to family and friends.

Survivors include four daughters, Louise Theissen and husband, Don of North Mankato, Joan Schugel of Minneapolis and Richard Schugel of Richfield, Margaret Pecoraro and husband, Michael of Plymouth, MA, Linda Averill and husband, Rex of Port Angeles, WA; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer (Mike) Kelley, Steve (Kren) Theissen, Mike (Marna) Theissen, David Theissen, Andrew Theissen, Jessica Schugel (Michael) Anschel, ClRose A.
