Bernice S. Forst, age 84, of Mankato, died Thursday, December 1, 2005 at Oaklawn Health Care Center.
Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Monday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Mankato with Rev. Al Girtz officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Hills Memorial Park, Mankato. Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at Mankato Mortuary and one hour prior to the service at church Monday.
Bernice was born July 25, 1921 to Mathias and Ingeborg (Norsby) Domas in Mankato. She graduated from Mankato High School in 1939 and Mankato Commercial College. She was united in marriage to Raymund Forst on April 9, 1944 in Worthington, MN. Bernice was a homemaker for her family. Bernice enjoyed embroidery, needlework, bowling, as well as watching the Twins, Vikings, and Timberwolves.
She is survived by her husband, Raymund of North Mankato; two daughters, Nancy Forst and husband, Felton Bill Williams of St. Louis Park and Joyce Forst of Eagan; two sisters-in-law, Phyllis Domas and Marie Domas both of Mankato; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Orris and George.
