Kevin Gimmer

Kevin L. Gimmer, age 40 of Mankato, died Friday, November 25, 2005 due to long term health complications.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday at St. Pauls Ev. Lutheran Church in North Mankato with Rev. Charles Vannieuwenhoven officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Nicollet. Visitation will be held from 4 " 7 p.m., Tuesday at Mankato Mortuary and continue one hour before services at the church on Wednesday.

Kevin was born March 30, 1965 to Kenneth and Virginia (Hoffman) Gimmer in Mankato, Minnesota. He was a graduate of Mankato East High School in 1984. Kevin was united in marriage to Dorothy Ann Gohlinghorst on July 4, 1987 in North Mankato. He worked for Auto Value for several years.

Kevin was a member of St. Pauls Ev. Lutheran Church in North Mankato. He enjoyed camping, the outdoors and time with his dog, Angel.

He is survived by his wife, Dottie Gimmer of Mankato; parents, Kenneth and Virginia Gimmer of Mankato; siblings, Susan (Greg) Marx of Madison Lake, Linda (Ron) Hummer of Mapleton, Ken Jr. (Dezata) Gimmer of Mankato, Brian Gimmer of Mankato; Dotties children and grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
