Cynthia "Cindy" M. Ericksen, age 58, of Mankato, died Saturday, December 25, 2010 at Immanuel " St. Joseph's Hospital in Mankato.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 22, 2011 at North Mankato Mortuary " NORTHVIEW with Pastor John Petersen officiating. Burial will be in Prairieville Cemetery in Evan, MN. Visitation will be one hour before the service on Saturday at NORTHVIEW.

Cynthia "Cindy" M. Ericksen was born December 22, 1952 to Chris and Sylvia (Christensen) Ericksen in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota. She grew up in Comfrey, Minnesota. Cindy graduated from Mayo High School in Rochester, Minnesota. She served her country in the US Army. Following her tour in the Army, Cindy lived in various parts of the county including Florida and Livermore, California where she attended race horses. She then moved back to Minnesota and began working for Winona ORC.

For the past 15 years Cindy lived in a group home in Mankato, Minnesota. She has wonderful house mates and caring staff that took care of her. Cindy loved motorcycles, music, card and board games and animals. She did some volunteer work at the Mankato Humane Society.

Cindy is survived by her brother, William (Sally) Ericksen of Lakeville, MN, two sisters, Barbara Eads of California, Kathleen (Denny) Schuetz of Mankato; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents and her sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Ted Jones.
