Mark W. Kivett, age 58, of North Mankato, died Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Immanuel St. Joseph's Hospital, Mankato.

Visitation will be held from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, January 16, 2011 at Mankato Mortuary. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Indiana. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the donor's choice.

Mark Warren Kivett was born April 1, 1952 in Martinsville, IN to Max and Patricia (Dixon) Kivett. In 1970, he graduated from Munster High School in Munster, IN. He later went on to attend college at Purdue University and earned his Master's Degree from Mankato State University. Mark was employed with the St. Peter Regional Treatment Center in St. Peter, and Adult Child and Family Services in Mankato.

Mark is survived by his parents, Max and Pat Kivett of Dyer, IN; brother-in-law, Cecil Knight; nephews, Matt and Spencer Knight; niece, Janet Knight, all of Lakefield, Ontario, Canada; and dear friend, Cyndi Zarbarno of St. Peter.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Knight.
