Louise C. Dalluge, age 100, of Good Thunder, died Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at the Mapleton Community Home.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2011 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Good Thunder with Rev. Rudolph H. Maurer Jr. officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the church on Saturday. Burial will be in Lyra Cemetery, Good Thunder. Memorials are preferred to St. John's Lutheran Church or the Mapleton Community Home. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Louise was born November 13, 1910 to Gustav and Bertha (Rehberg) Wille in Waterbury Township, Redwood County, Minnesota. She was baptized December 4, 1910 and confirmed April 5, 1925. Louise attended country school for eight years. She worked for the New Ulm Casket Company making pillows for several years. She married Oscar J. Dalluge on June 20, 1937 in Good Thunder. Louise enjoyed gardening, playing cards, visiting with friends, and especially time spent with her family.
Louise is survived her son, Gene (Carmen) Dalluge of Good Thunder; step-daughter-in-law, Eileen Dalluge of Good Thunder; grandchildren, Lisa Dalluge, Sherry (Paul) Goplen, Craig Dalluge, Darin (Tasha) Dalluge; great grandchildren, Mike and Melissa Goplen, Cooper and Morgan Dalluge; sister, Erna Weiss; brother, Alvin (Christine) Wille; brother-in-law, Leroy (Millie) Wrucke; and many nieces and nephews.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar; step-son, Roger; siblings, Robert Wille, Lydia Koschnick, Frieda Cheney, Ervin Wille, Walter Wille, Florence Wrucke, Bernice Wrucke, and infant sister, Ann Wille.
