Evelyn Lucille Reinke, age 87, of Mankato, died Friday, December 24, 2010, at Oaklawn Health Care Center.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Willow Creek, with Rev. John Bennett officiating. Interment will be in North Willow Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. on Monday at Lake Crystal Mortuary, and continues one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Memorials are preferred to the donor's choice.

Evelyn was born on November 28, 1923 in Vernon Center Township. She was the daughter of William and Marie (Tonn) Jobe. Evelyn attended school at St. John's, Willow Creek. She was united in marriage to Wilmar Reinke on September 17, 1944 in Willow Creek. Evelyn was a homemaker for her family and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, quilting, gardening, canning, and was good at mending broken hearts.

Evelyn is survived by her husband, Wilmar; four daughters, Carin (William) Chaney, Beverley (David) Michels, Doreen (Michael) Terpstra, and Elaine (Leonard) Carlquist; one son, Vern Reinke; ten grandchildren, Chad and Aric Chaney, Chris, Jeff, and Darrick Terpstra, Ann Tesch, Amy Carlquist, Cassandra, Dayna, and Mackenzie Reinke; two step-grandchildren, Tim and Katherine Tesch; four great grandchildren, Joey Terpstra, Hannah and James Tesch, and April Carlquist; one brother, Ervin Jobe; also many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant brother, Waldo; brothers, Alvin, Merlin, Marvin, Willie, and Eldor Jobe.
