Marie B Schroeder

Marie Bertha Schroeder, age 96, of North Mankato, died Sunday, December 14, 2008 at the Mankato House Health Care Center.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 18, 2008 at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in North Mankato, with Rev. Gary Wong officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Nicollet. Mankato Mortuary handled the arrangements.

Marie was born on February 18, 1912 in Nicollet. She was the daughter of Louis and Marie (Dallman) Schroeder. Over the years, Marie was employed as a housekeeper in North Mankato. She was a member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in North Mankato.

Marie is survived by her sister, Martha Schouviller of St. Peter; sister-in-law, Val Schroeder of St. Peter; also many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers, Walter, Robert, Arthur, Reinhart, Louis, Willie, and Harold; three sisters, Lena Hopp, Hilda Fitzner, and Ida Maas.
