Robert A Kreutzer

Robert A. Kreutzer, age 95, of Mankato died Saturday, November 1, 2008 at Hillcrest Health Care Center, Mankato.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., Monday, November 3, 2008 at Mankato Mortuary. A Family Funeral Service will be held with burial in Glenwood Cemetery, Mankato.

Robert was born October 10, 1913 to Michael and Frances (Bachmeyer) Kreutzer in Mankato. He was united in marriage to Ileen I. Attenberger on June 7, 1946 in Mankato. Robert was employed by Kato Brewing Company for many years and then with Schulte's Body Shop, Mankato from which he retired. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, yardwork, reading the newspaper, and sports, especially the Minnesota Twins, Vikings, and Timberwolves. He cherished spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Robert is survived by his wife, Ileen; daughter, Anita (Rick) Boyer of Mankato and children, Jason (Sharla) Boyer and their children, Sterling and Ivory, Rachel (Jim) Johnson and their children, Serene and Rheanna; son, Paul (Arlene) Kreutzer of Mankato and children, Molly (Rob) Mulcahey and their children, Sarah and James, Candice (Roger) Keen, Kim (Mike) Weber and their children, Andrew and Taylor, Ashley Kreutzer; brother, John Kreutzer; sister-in-law, Vera Kreutzer both of Mankato; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Mary McCabe, Betty Finley, and Agnes Rindelaub; three brothers, Ed, Clem, and George.
