Vickie L Behnke

Vickie L. Behnke, age 55 of North Mankato, died Friday, October 14, 2005 at the Lake Crystal Health Care Center.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at Messiah Lutheran Church in North Mankato, with Rev. Jim Ahlquist officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 4 " 7 p.m., Monday at Messiah Lutheran Church in North Mankato. In lieu of flowers, memorials maybe given to the donor's choice. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Vickie was born on October 11, 1950 in Madelia. She was the daughter of Kenneth and Mary (Adams) Arduser. Vickie was a 1968 graduate of Madelia High School, and attended Stewart Beauty School in Sioux Falls, SD. She was united in marriage to Royce Behnke on December 5, 1970 in Madelia. Vickie had worked at Bretts Beauty Salon prior to joining her husband in their family owned business, Dels Caf in North Mankato, for 34 years. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. Vickie enjoyed cake decorating, ceramics, crafts, gardening, and collecting rocking horses.

Vickie is survived by her husband, Royce Behnke of North Mankato; three children, Heath Behnke and his fiance, Sherry of Mankato, Bret Behnke of North Mankato, and Heather Behnke of Mankato; two grandchildren, Mandy and Allen; one great-granddaughter, Haley; mother, Mary Arduser of Madelia; two brothers and their wives, Dennis and Lynda Arduser of rural Madelia, Bruce and Jane Arduser of St. Louis, MO; one sister-in-law and her husband, Sharon and David Pinska of Woodbury; mother-in-law, Margaret Behnke of Good Thunder; also nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father.
