Margaret E Bell

Margaret Elsie Bell, age 94 of Mankato, died August 4, 2005 at Oaklawn Health Care Center in Mankato.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday August 8, 2005 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Mankato with Rev. Al Girtz officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery in Mankato. Visitation will be held from 2 " 4 p.m., Sunday at Mankato Mortuary and one hour before services at the church on Monday.

Margaret was born August 10, 1910 to Paul and Emma (Piel) Erdner in Easton, Minnesota. She was united in marriage to Arnold Bell on April 23, 1939 in Northwood, IA. She was a homemaker for her family. Margaret was an active member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and the Dorcas Society. She enjoyed growing flowers, gardening, quilting, making pies and family.

She is survived by her husband, Arnold of Mankato; one son, John (Dorothy) Bell of Saint Louis Park, MN; two grandchildren, David (Helen) Bell of Grand Rapids, OH, Geoffrey Bell of Troy, MI; great-granddaughter, Elsa Bell; one sister, Arzella Whipplinger of Kiester, MN; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and three sisters.
