Marilyn Kay Steinborn, age 44, of Mankato died Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at Mankato House Health Care Center after a long and courageous battle with leukemia.
Funeral service 2 p.m. Monday, July 25, 2005 at Grace Baptist Church, Mankato, with Rev. John Michel officiating. Burial in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Mankato. Visitation will be one hour before services at church on Monday. Mankato Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
Marilyn was born September 8, 1960 to Arthur J. and Frances M. (Enders) Lund in Mankato. She graduated from Mankato East High School. She was united in marriage to Harvey Steinborn on November 6, 1981 in St. Peter. Marilyn was a longtime employee of MRCI as a custodian. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Marilyn enjoyed drawing birds, playing cards, watching Twins baseball, and spending time with family.
Marilyn is survived by her son, David (Holli) Steinborn; grandson, DavidJaymes Steinborn all of Mountain Home, Idaho; two brothers, Art (Chris) Lund of Chattanooga, TN, Bob Lund and special friend, Martha Lund of Kewaunee, WI; three sisters, Luci (Tom) Bowen, Sandi Davis and special friend, Michael Gilsrud all of Madison Lake, Donna (Al) Loeffler of Altura; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harvey on November 14, 1997; sister, Arlene Ritter.
