Florence R. Wrucke, age 86, of North Mankato and formerly of Good Thunder died Tuesday, July 19, 2005 at Immanuel-St. Josephs Hospital in Mankato.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2005 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Mankato with Rev. Eugene Glade officiating. Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, Good Thunder. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday at Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour before services at church on Saturday.
Florence was born April 13, 1919 to Gustav and Bertha (Raeberg) Wille in Waterbury Township, Redwood County, Minnesota. She was united in marriage to George Wrucke on April 28, 1940 in Good Thunder. George died May 10, 1980. Florence was a homemaker for her family. She was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church and a former member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Good Thunder. Florence had resided at the Mapelton Community Home for the past two months. She enjoyed card playing, bingo, and spending time with her family.
Florence is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Compart and husband, Ralph of Courtland, Pam Harpestad and husband, Roger of St. Peter; seven grandchildren, Sara Harpestad of Minneapolis, Andrew, Kimberly, and Danielle Harpestad all of St. Peter, Nikko Tim Segal of Byron, Jill Kimes and husband, Dave, and Amy Stolt all of New Ulm; four great-grandchildren, Taylor, Alex, Jasmyn, and Sabrina; three sisters, Lydia Koschnick of Tucson, AZ, Louise Dalluge of Mapleton, Erna Weiss of Springfield; brother, Alvin Wille and wife, Christine of Lamberton; two brothers-in-law, LeRoy Bud Wrucke and wife, Millie, Ervin Jack Wrucke and wife, Helen all of Good Thunder; one sister-in-law, Verna Wille of Redwood Falls; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, and three sisters.
