Kevin R Kruse

Kevin R. Kruse, age 58, of North Mankato, died on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at his home.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, October 13, 2008 at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Paul Nolting officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12 from 2-5 p.m. at Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Monday. A private committal service will be held at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery.

Kevin was born on January 3, 1950 in Fairmont, MN to Hans and Helen (Tonne) Kruse. After the death of his mother, his father married Frieda Siebens. On June 25, 1977 Kevin was united in marriage to Anita Heinze in Mankato. Kevin owned Lawn Barbers lawn service from 1988-1998. He worked at Perfecseal for many years and had been the caretaker at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery since 1996. He was a faithful child of God and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. He loved to help people and always had to be working. Family was very important to him and he enjoyed time spent with his grandson.

He is survived by his wife, Anita of North Mankato; mother, Frieda Kruse of Good Thunder; sons, Scott (Sarah) of North Mankato, Todd of Mankato, and Brett (Nikki) of Mankato; grandson, Kaden; two brothers, Marlin (Judi) Siebens and Steward (Linda) Siebens; two sisters, Stephanie Kruse and Pamela (David) Coste; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
