JoAnn L Bergemann

JoAnn Leota Bergemann, age 68, of Mankato and formerly of Good Thunder, died Sunday, August 24, 2008 at Autumn Grace Senior Services in Mankato.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 29, 2008 at Mankato Mortuary, with Rev. Mike Tindall officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the mortuary. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Good Thunder.

JoAnn was born on September 29, 1939 in Stigler, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Glen and Mae (Taylor) West. JoAnn was united in marriage to Alfred Bergemann on August 3, 1968. She was a homemaker for her family and enjoyed time on their farm near Good Thunder. JoAnn enjoyed gardening and canning, cooking and entertaining family and friends, shopping, and spending time with her family.

JoAnn is survived by her daughter, Denise (Charles) Hillesheim of Mankato; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Chelsi, Zach, and Brandi; three great-grandchildren, Parker, Davyn, and Lyla; two sisters, Elizabeth and Cathryn; one brother, Clovis; also nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alfred in 2001; brother, Wayne and sister, Bonnie.
