Juanita Dranttel

Juanita Dranttel, age 76 of Mankato died Sunday, June 12, 2005 at her home.

Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, with Rev. Daniel Basel officiating. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at Mankato Mortuary and one hour before services at the church on Wednesday.

Juanita was born October 22, 1928 in Beatyville, KY to Kelley and Evenlyn (Couch) Norman. She was united in marriage to Robert Robinson on October 1 2, 1947 in Kentucky. Robert died in 1959. Juanita married Donald Dranttel on November 3, 1961 in Mankato. Donald died in 1983.

Juanita worked for 12 years at Mankato Corporation. She was a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church and the VFW Post 950 and American Legion Post 11 Auxiliaries. She enjoyed baby sitting and gardening.

Juanita is survived by a daughter and her husband, Sharon and John Lanier of Eagle Lake and a granddaughter, Christy; nephews, nieces and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Robert and Donald; four sisters and two brothers.
