Cecile Cile D. Hansen, age 65, of Kasota died Sunday, May 22, 2005 at Oaklawn Health Care Center in Mankato.
Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at Mankato Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Dan Wiese officiating. Burial in Kasota Hills Cemetery, Kasota. Visitation 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Mankato Mortuary and continues one hour before services on Wednesday.
Cile was born October 26, 1939 to Carl W. and Leona I. (Brandt) Putz in Mankato. She married Lynn W. Hansen on May 17, 1958 in Mankato. Lynn died February 10, 2004. Cile was employed by Midwest Electric from 1970 until her retirement in 2000. Cile was a member of Hosanna Lutheran Church in Mankato. She enjoyed crocheting, bird watching, going to northern Minnesota, fishing, and spending time with her family.
Cile is survived by two sons, Mike Hansen of Kasota; Keith Hansen and his wife, Janet of Mankato; eight grandchildren, Mandy, Erik, Kasey, Kim, Mark, Joey, Colleen, and Kandace; great granddaughter, Elizabeth; four sisters, Gladys Drenttel of Mankato, Charlotte Foss and her husband, Don of St. Peter, Mary Devens and her husband, Milton of Mankato, Barbara Myers and her husband, Vernon of Cleveland; father-in-law, Woodrow Hansen of Mankato; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Pamela Kay; husband, Lynn; sister, Lila Gatzke; two brothers-in-law, Melvin Gatzke, Harold Drenttel; and mother-in-law, Louise Hansen.
